In 1998, she quickly transitioned to the construction industry and began working as a laborer for Drain & Green Masonry. Within a year she was promoted and began laying bricks and cinder blocks from 1999 to 2020 for Drain and Green Masonry and Bingley's Masonry. With over 20 years of masonry construction experience building residential, commercial, and industrial structures with these companies, Tammy has been one of very few female brick masons in United States history. Tammy founded Laylor Corporation on March 16, 2021.

Alana is on the Board of Directors of Laylor Corporation. She is the Founder of Alice Lee Boutique. As a Fashion Guru and 10 years experience in modeling, Alana is also the Head of the Fashion Division of the company. She has traveled to over 14 different countries. Alana has a Business Degree in Business and Project Management with an emphasis on Marketing from Devry University.
